The 30th CELEBRATION Booster Box (M6a) This is the Japanese booster pack box with which the Pokémon TCG celebrates its 30th anniversary, and rarely has an expansion been released with such ambition. We’re talking about 20 booster packs from the M6a expansion—the original Japanese version of the first simultaneous global release in the game’s history, scheduled for September 16, 2026.

What makes this set special becomes clear the moment you tear open the first envelope: All the cards are foil, without exception. Plus, every pack is guaranteed to contain an illustrated Pikachu, and there are 30 different art styles to discover—one for each year of the franchise’s history. Completing the Pikachu collection will be the big challenge of this anniversary, and with a full box, you’ll have a huge head start.
The expansion introduces the rare card Futuristic Rare, featuring Mew EX and Mewtwo EX illustrated by artist YOSHIROTTEN. These are the most sought-after cards in the set and the reason why so many collectors go straight for the full box instead of individual booster packs.
Why the Japanese version? Because it’s the original market: the print quality and finish of the Japanese foil have a well-deserved reputation among collectors, and in a set where every card shines, that difference is evident card by card.
