The 30th Anniversary Ultra-Premium Collection is the most ambitious product in the entire Pokémon TCG 30th Anniversary line. Named “Day & Night,” this UPC includes 29 booster packs from the 30th Celebration expansion, one booster pack from the Classic Collection subset, and a selection of premium accessories designed to make the box look great whether it’s closed or open.
The Ultra-Premium Collections have earned their reputation on their own merits: they’re the format that The Pokémon Company reserves for special occasions, and few occasions are more special than a 30th birthday.
The Classic Collection booster pack deserves a special mention. This subset features reprints of historic cards from the game, and opening it separately from the rest is a little ritual in itself. The other 29 booster packs are part of the 30th Celebration set, where all cards are foil; each pack guarantees one of the 30 Pikachu cards illustrated by different artists, and the new Futuristic Rare—featuring Mew ex and Mewtwo ex by YOSHIROTTEN—may appear.
With so many packs in a single box, the UPC is the most direct way to complete the set—something many people tried to do in 2021 with Celebrations and its Ultra-Premium Collection, which flew off the shelves as soon as it hit stores.
The official launch is on November 6, 2026, as part of the second wave of anniversary products, with editions available in Spanish and English so you can choose your language. It is currently listed as “coming soon,” and we have not opened pre-orders yet.
