It is now official: Aura Seeker will be launched in Japan on Friday November 27th. And as you can imagine by the name, the protagonist is none other than Mega Lucario Z ex. In case you're familiar with it, this set already went a bit viral back in March, when we caught its name in some trademark registrations.
Normally, in the dates of November or December, Japan brings out a set of the big ones. These are the famous «High Class Pack»that come loaded with alternative illustrations. But Aura Seeker doesn't look like one of those. Special sets always include some mechanics in the name (there they are MEGA Dream ex, Terastal Festival ex, Shiny Treasure ex, VSTAR Universe, VMAX Climax, Shiny Star V, TAG All Stars, GX Ultra Shiny...) and Aura Seeker has none of those.
Prediction after Aura Seeker
And there is more. Since it comes out at the end of November, it doesn't look like there's going to be room for a «High Class Pack» in December. Note that every time they have released one in December it has always been in the first week, probably to catch people in the middle of the Christmas shopping rush.
So the theory is this: it may be that the world set of the 30th Celebration, which arrives in September, will end up being this year's Japanese special set.
What's next in Japan
So, notes the November 27: Aura Seeker, with Mega Lucario Z in front.
